20211107 095550

Do you enjoy seeing butterflies in the field, and participating in citizen science projects? Join Dr Justin Cappadonna to scout for butterflies as part of  Brisbane's Big Butterfly Count at Mt Coot-tha. Observations will contribute to a multi-year survey of butterflies across Brisbane, and there will be opportunities to learn about butterfly ecology. Best of all, some butterflies only congregate at hilltops, so we are likely to see some unusual species. This F R E E event is good for all ages and levels of experience.

The event will be 9 am-12 pm on 27 November (Saturday) at Mt Coot-tha. We will meet at the yellow gates at the top of the Reservoir Track. There are parking spaces off Sir Samuel Griffith Drive near the gates and at the Mount Coot-tha Summit Overlook. (see Google Maps)

Please bring water and sun protection.

If you have any queries, please contact Justin Cappadonna on 0423 105 284.

There will be NO Hilltop Bushcare Group meeting on Sunday 5 December, due to scheduling issues.
