NATIVE BEES

Local native bee enthusiast, Tony Goodrich,  will be on hand with some of his 'babies' and their hives.  He will explain all about how keeping native bees keeps our forests healthy and what easy 'pets' they are!

 

A two hour walk – (followed by morning tea)

THECA monthly two hour birdwalks are an easy way to see something of the wonderful variety of bird-life around Brisbane, suitable for all ages and experience.

  • A two hour walk, suitable for all ages and experience.
  • Usually on the Saturday of the last full weekend of the month, January to November.
  • Please phone THECA on 3878 5088 for more information or if the weather looks uncertain.
  • Gold coin donation appreciated: $1/person for THECA members; $2/person for non-members.
